Description

That little bit extra

What counts here is that certain extra – in terms of type beauty, shoulder freedom, strength from the hindquarters and attitude. Lord Romance PS combines top-class riding horse points, which are well manifested by his ingenious genetics. This charmer was correspondingly sought-after at the Schockemöhle online auction for young stallions, where he became the second top price with a hammer price of 270,000 euros.

His sire Lord Europe was himself a two-time premium stallion, an 800,000 Euro stallion market price sensation and – as the youngest stallion in the competition of Germany’s best young horses – took second place in the final of the Nuremberg Burg Cup. He won the winner’s prize with 9.5. Under Leonie Richter, he had been able to secure his ticket for the final with the highest score of all qualifiers – namely 77.951 percent. In 2024, Lord Europe effortlessly made the leap into the Grand Prix class: he won the warm-up test for the Oldenburg semi-finals of the Derby Stars of Tomorrow series with almost 74 percent. He produced several licensed sons from his first crops, including the second Westphalian Reserve Champion Lodovico, who was the second stallion market leader with a hammer price of 401,000 Euros. The Lord Europe daughter First Moana advanced to the winner of the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show. Lord Extra won bronze at the Oldenburg State Championships under Julian Fetzer and finished fifth at the German Championships.

The dam Fine Gesina PS is sister to ten licensed stallions, including the Oldenburg Champion Stallion, Main Premium Winner, Burg Cup finalist, VTV dressage stallion and Grand Prix successful For Romance I OLD and the premium stallion and internationally placed For Romance II (both by Fürst Romancier), the two other Champion Stallions Feinrich (by Fürst Heinrich) and Viva Romance PS (by Vinino) and the Burg Cup fifth and Inter II winner Golden Romance Malleret PS (by Governor)/ Manuel Dominguez Bernal/ESP. Her half-sister Fasine OLD (by Fürst Romancier) advanced to become the Oldenburg Champion Mare, German Champion, P.S.I. price record holder and is successful up to Inter II. In breeding, Fasine produced the licensed Fasino (by Foundation) and the mare A la Fasine (by Apache), who became the dam of the licensed HP Valentino (by Vitalis). The half-sister Fürstin Gesine (by Fürst Heinrich) was also Oldenburg Champion Mare and became the dam of the licensed stallions Visino PS (by Vitalis) and Montrachtet PS (by Morricone I). Her half-sister Furtherance (by Fürst Romancier) produced the two licensed stallions Go For Romance PS (by Governor) and Viva Vitalis (by Vitalis), Champion Stallion and bronze medallist at the German Championships. The half-sister Vesina PS (by Vivaldi) also produced the short test reserve champion Sebastino PS (by Secret) and the championship-placed Drei hundert PS (by Dante’s Junior). The half-sister Fasinette (by Fürst Romancier) produced the licensed stallion Jovianson (by Jovian). Fine Gesina is also a half-sister to the British Dressage Champion and up to the Light Tour placed Mount St. John Best of all (by Bordeaux), who in turn became the dam of the Vice National Champion and fifth at the German Championships Best of Mount St. John OLD (by Fürst Romancier) and a licensed Quantensprung son.

The dam’s sire, elite stallion Foundation, himself 2012 Oldenburg Grand Premium Winner, placed finalist in the prestigious finals of the Burg Cup and the Louisdor Prize and under Matthias Alexander Rath and victorious and placed in Grand Prix competitions up to Nations Cups, made the leap into the top 14 of the world’s best dressage sires (WBFSH ranking) in 2024, which he attributes to his World Cup-successful offspring Florine OLD/Bianca Nowag-Aulenbrock and Favour Gersdorf/Nadja Aaboe, among others. Sloth/DEN. His more than 30 licensed sons include the P.S.I. price record holder, Vice World Champion for young dressage horses and Grand Prix successful Ferrari OLD/Rudolf Widmann, the Reserve Champion and up to Grand Prix victorious Freischütz/William Matthew/AUS, Farfán, who was placed up to Inter II, the AWÖ Champion Stallion Broadmoars Franello, the Reserve Champion Fiancé and the Hanoverian Champion and up to Inter II successful Feuertanz/Lena Waldmann, as well as the Oldenburg Champion and Danish Premium Stallion Fortunate. 85 award-winning daughters are on the books, including Frida Fröhlich, the overall champion mare of the DSP Mare Championships.

The third dam Gesine produced the licensed stallions Amadeus de l’Aubois (by S. The Designer) and Vivaldi’s Schufro (by Vivaldi; Reserve Champion). Her daughter Sadira de Malleret (by Sir Donnerhall I) became the dam of the sports mare Zaeta de Malleret (by Zonik)/Helen Langehanenberg and the licensed stallion Dicasso de Malleret (by Danciano).
