Description

The mother is the half-sister of the licensed show jumping stallion La Costa ES

Impressive athlete and, through his father, extremely favorably influenced by Marcus Ehning’s championship crack Comme il faut. The consistency of his performance during the licensing in Ankum is particularly impressive. Optimal bascule, lightning-fast leg technique, expansive canter… Pascadell is a particularly noteworthy highlight in our lot of jumping stallions.

The father Pegase van’t Ruytershof, himself a son of the European Championship team runner-up and individual fifth-place finisher Comme il faut under Marcus Ehning, won the BWP Cup in his home country of Belgium at the age of three and the Pavo Cup at the age of four. He was awarded the BWP Young Stallion Award early on. He then placed in the international youngster tour under Jeroen De Winter/BEL and can already boast placings up to 1.45 meter jumping. Seven of his sons have been licensed and have already achieved age-appropriate successes in the course, such as Nelson van de Kapel, Talent vd Berghoeve and Tellini van’t Ruytershof. His foals, such as Palerme Concept Z, Pinta de Reve and Toulouse vd Middelstede, which sold for over 20,000 euros, were sought after at auction

The dam’s sire Cascadello I was Holstein reserve champion, stallion performance test winner in Marbach and placed under Dirk Ahlmann in courses up to 1.50 meters in Kronenberg/NED, Arezzo, Wiesbaden and Lier/BEL. Over 30 of his sons have been licensed, including Cascadello Boy RM/Meshari Alharbi/KSA, who are successful in jumping up to 1.60 meters, the reigning double gold winner of the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou/CHN, and Dublin/Nano Healy/IRL or Michael Duffy/IRL. The successes of his offspring catapulted Cascadello I to 25th place in the current WBFSH ranking of the world’s best jumping sires.

The granddam Isolde ES produced the licensed La Costa ES (by Mosito van het Hellehof)/Gerd-Jan Horsmans/NED, who was successful in jumping up to 1.35 meters.

The S-level show jumpers Air Nike Z van de Helle (by Air Jordan; 1.50 m jumping)/Constant van Paesschen/BEL and Gracia ES (by Last Man Standing; 1.45.) come from the third dam Centerfold Z m-Spr.)/Kim Hoogenraat/NED. The latter became the mother of the licensed stallion Obama ES (by Nixon van’t Meulenhof).

The fourth mother produced the four S-level show jumpers Dutch Blue (by Chacco-Blue; 1.50 m jumping)/Mischa Everse van de Kraats/NED, Benita (by Calvino Z; 1.45 m jumping) /Toon Maes/BEL, Funky Blue (by Zirocco Blue; 1.45 m jumping) and Kyara Rock (by F-One USA; 1.45 m jumping)/Michael G. Duffy/IRL.

The licensed stallions Acobat I, II and III (all by Athlet Z), Campagne II Z (by Calido I), by Balou Z (by Balou du Rouet), USA Today (by. Heartbreaker; 1.60 m-Spr.)/Robert Whitaker/GBR, Comme des Garcons (by Comme il faut), Corjano (by Cornet Obolensky), VDL Groep Charisma Z (by Calato), Carlos (by Contender ) and the sport horses Cointreau Z (by Calavaro; 1.60 m jumping)/Martin R. Vanni/URU or Highway (by Casall; 1.50 m jumping)/Martin R. Vanni/URU.
