The powerful Methargos Blue PS represents the small but highly successful stallion line of Montender, who won individual and team bronze medals with Marco Kutscher at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens/GRE, and secured double gold the following year at the European Championships in San Patrignano/ITA. The Belgian dam line has also proved itself, producing numerous top performers at competitions.

Mesulot PS, closely related to our top stallion Conthalor Blue PS, collected numerous placings in the Youngster Tour with Eiken Sato/JPN and Philip Rüping, after winning a series of competitions for young show jumping horses with scores up to 9.2 and securing bronze at the Warendorf Championships for seven-year-olds with Eiken Sato/JPN.

His dam Contharga Blue produced Eltharga PS OLD (by Eldorado van de Zeshoek)/Alexa Stais/CYP, reigning Oldenburg State Champion of six-year-olds, who also came sixth in the 18th Deister Championships.

His dam’s sire Conthargos produced numerous top horses, including the Olympic show jumping horses Conthargo-Blue/Eiken Sato/JPN and Álavro González de Zarate/ESP and Condara/Luis Fernando Larrazabal/VEN, as well as Pia Contra/Nicolas Pizarro/MEX, Conchado/Ignacio Maurin/ESP and Abril Iconthon/Leandro Moschini/ARG, who were successful in 1.60m show jumping competitions and the Pan American Games, Concare PS/Mark Bluman/COL, Chadina/Mckayla Langmeier/USA, Costa Quick PS/Mario Deslauriers/CAN, Condara/Luis Fernando Larrazabal/VEN, Caept’n Hook/Armando Trapote/ESP, the individual gold medallist at the Junior European Championships in Gorla Minore/ITA, Tailormade Contou/Anastasia Nielsen/MON, and the team gold medallist, Conthanja/Coen Williams/IRL. Almost 60 of his sons have been licensed led by Continental Blue/Philip Rüping, who also stands at our stud and is successful in show jumping competitions up to 1.60m, as well as the double Champion Stallion Conthalou.

His grand-dam Lovely Blue produced the top international horses Filuchi (by Filou de Muze; 1.55m SJ)/Béla Petrik/HUN, Elvis Blue Hallelujah (by Elvis ter Putte; 1.40m SJ)/Elizabeth Schumann/USA and Call Blue (by Caligula; 1.45m SJ)/Karoline Lien/NOR. Her daughter Con Lady Blue (by Conthargos) is the dam of the show jumping horses Centhargos PS (by Centino du Ry; 1.40m SJ) and Casa Lady Love PS OLD (by Casallco; 1.60m SJ)/Rene Lopez Lizarazo/COL. The latter was the 2021 Oldenburg State Champion of six-year-old show jumping horses and produced a licensed stallion by Contagio.

His great-grand-dam Lovely Lady B Z produced eight show jumping horses who were placed in international competitions, including the four 1.60m show jumpers Chacco Boy (by Chacco-Blue)/Szabolcs Kruscó/HUN, Balou’s Lady (by Balou du Rouet)/Douglas Lindelöw/SWE, Lawisangos (by L’Aveau Z)/Gyula Szuhai/HUN and Chalasanga PS (by Chac Boy)/Christian Marini/ITA.

The fourth dam Grande Dame B Z (by Grandeur) produced the licensed stallion For Enjoy B Z and the 1.60m show jumping horse Fair Play B Z (both by For Pleasure). She is the half sister of the licensed stallion Cha Cha B Z (by Chin Chin).

The stallions Chacoon Fly PS (by Chacoon Blue), Un Hero d’Urano Gouden Bit Z (by Urano de Cartigny), Gorki van ’t Kathof (by Ugano Sitte), Kartouzo van ’t Kathof (by Ustinov) and Hardi (by Lugano van La Roche) also descend from the dam line.
