Description

Mattias is one of Jur Vrieling’s most promising future talents, impressing time and again with his canter, take off, and unlimited scope. Moreover, he has already proven his value as a sire, having produced the KWPN Stallion licensing champion of 2025, Sixth Sense HBC.

Genetically, Mattias boasts an exceptional pedigree. He is not only sired by the renowned Comme Il Faut but is also a grandson -on his dam’s side- of the Grand Prix mare Sweet Tricia. This Berlin daughter competed at the highest level with riders such as Nicholas Dello Joio, Darragh Kenny, and Marlon Zanotelli, securing victories such as in the 1.50m class of CSIO5 Barcelona* and the 1.50m Grand Prix of CSI3* Knokke. In the second generation, the Grand Prix horse progenitor Catoki adds his valuable genetics, having produced top-level performers like Ermitage Kalone, Contanga and Catch Me If You Can. Sire Comme Il Faut made history through Olympic champion Checker 47 and also sired standouts like Carla NRW,  Chao Lee and Comthago.
Mattias’ eldest offspring turn four this year and are already making a strong impression at inspections, mare tests, and young horse competitions.

Palmares

From a young age, Mattias has captivated with his jumping ability. As a three-year-old, he was approved with a 9 for scope and an overall score of 83 points. Since early 2024, he has been competing internationally under Jur Vrieling, already securing placings at 1.45m level at the start of this year. Mattias seems to develop into a horse for the highest level of the sport.
