Fioretti VDL

Description

This elegant, highly expressive-moving Fioretti VDL made an excellent impression at the Oldenburg stallion licensing in late 2025. With his strong natural talent and bloodlines, he has the potential to develop into a pillar of European dressage breeding. His sire Foundation competed successfully at the highest level under Matthias Alexander Rath and has proven himself a first-class producer of Grand Prix horses, with offspring such as Ferrari Old, Florine Old, Favour Gersdorf, and Fellini du Soleil. Foundation is also ranked 19th on the WBFSH sire ranking for dressage stallions.

Dam Tarona previously produced the Oldenburg premium stallion Feivel, a full brother to Fioretti VDL, and she is herself a half-sister to the Small Tour dressage horse Fiorello (s.Fidertanz) ridden by Marco Ulrich. Tarona is sired by the influential Keur stallion Bretton Woods, who is ranked 14th on the WBFSH sire ranking for dressage stallions. His oldest progeny have reached top-level, including Jewel’s Goldstrike, Hit Plus, Gino, and Hermes-V. This Oldenburg damline traces back in the fourth generation to a full sister of the Small Tour stallion Rocher d’Or (s.Rubinstein I). The promising Fioretti VDL will cover his first mares in 2026.

Pedigree
