Description

Escamillo made a dream start as a sire: ten sons from his first crop of foals were licensed in Germany, including the Hanoverian premium stallion and 700,000 euro stallion market price topper Energy, the Westphalian reserve champion stallion Escaneno and our two promising young stars Expectation PS and Escanto PS.

This scion from Wendel’s super line of Cinderella also put itself in the limelight. “That was great! Super good horse, super good riding,” was the comment of the judges on Escamillo’s performance at the 2021 World Dressage Championships in Verden. Under the Spaniard Manuel Dominguez Bernal, who rode for Helen Langehanenberg’s stable, the stallion scored with his elastic, hard-working and very well balanced trot (9.2), his energetic canter (9.0) and his canter with a pronounced suspension phase (9.0) and his canter stride that goes almost perfectly through the body (9.5). The judges gave the 9.5 for the light and even contact, the smooth transitions, the wide crossing in the traversals and the changes that jumped up safely and powerfully,

Escamillo started his career as a premium stallion at his licensing in Verden in 2017, passed his 14-day dressage test in 2018 with a dressage score of 9.08 and completed his sports test under Helen Langehanenberg in 2020 with a winner’s rating of 9.36. Among the Olympic team runners-up, he also qualified as a five-year-old with a 9.5 for the Federal Dressage Horse Championships. In 2021 he won the medium level dressage horse test in Haftenkamp under Manuel Dominguez Bernal with a score of 8.8 (also qualification for the 6-year-old Bundeschampionat).

The father, the Westphalian and double federal champion Escolar, placed under the Olympic champion and riding champion Hubertus Schmidt in the Burg Pokal final, the final of the Louisdor Prize and at the German championships. The couple is part of the German Olympic team.

The mother Verb.Pr.St. Cassila is a full sister to the licensed stallions Romanist (S* dressage) and Romeo Niro (M** dressage).

Grandsire Rohdiamant was riding horse Bundeschampion in 1993 and competed in Grand Prix sport under Lisa Wilcox/USA. Around 50 of his sons were licensed. His most successful offspring include Valentina Truppas/ITA Olympic partner Eremo del Castegno and Helen Langehanenberg’s Responsible OLD.

The granddam Chantal is a full sister to the licensed and Grand Prix successful Dumont/Juliane Brunkhorst and Hartwig Burfeind, respectively, the half brother Aquavit (by Argentinus) is successful in international show jumping tests.

De Niro, Landadel and Zeus follow in the pedigree.

The third mother St.Pr./El.St. Caruge is a full sister to the licensed stallion Laphroaig/Leporello and is also the dam of several state premium mares. Her full sister is none other than the national champion mare St.Pr./El.St. C major, from which four licensed stallions originate.

tribe of El.St. Cinderella, from which, among others, the five Bundeschampion full siblings Sir Heinrich OLD, Cindy OLD, Candy OLD, Caty OLD and Casey OLD (all by Sir Donnerhall I) and the Grand Prix dressage horse Radondo (by Romanov)/Ashley Holzer/USA, also the stallions Zymbal I and II (both by Zeus), First Class I and II (both by Furioso II), Sesostris (by Silvio I), Rubino Rosso (by Rubinstein), Castus I and II (both by .Classiker), Stiefelkönig (by Silvano), Grand Marnier (by Galoubet A), Pharaoh (by Parabol), RTL (by Rubinstein), Routinier (by Rohdiamant), Solo Hit (by Sandro Hit), Get Smart (by Granulit), Fortune Hunter (by First Class I), Casanova (by Castro) and Si bon (by Sir Donnerhall I).
