Description

Ridden by Niels Nanning, the excellent bred Elvaro shows a lot of potential for the highest level of the showjumping sport. The son of Calvaro catches attention with his enormous scope and extreme carefulness and thanks to those characteristics Elvaro ended up fourth in the nal standings of the KWPN Stallion Competition 2015.

Sire Calvaro jumped at the highest level with Jos Lansink, Michael and John Whitaker and has developed into a true top sire with famous offspring like Katchina Mail (Patrice Delaveau), Grafton (Conor Swail), Santiago de Blondel (Manuel Fernandez Saro) and Sarena (Ben Maher).

Elvaro’s dam April Love M is a daughter of the legendary Heartbreaker and jumped at 1.35m level herself. Heartbreaker is of an incredible value to the breeding of showjumpers, as a sire of top stallions like Toulon, Quasimodo van de Molendreef and Harley and of world-class showjumpers like Romanov (Bertram Allen), Dejavu (Bassem Hassan Mohammed) and VDL Groep Zidane (Leopold van Asten).

In addition, Elvaro was bred out of the direct damline of the KWPN approved stallion Londontimes, which jumped at the highest level with Kevin Olsmeyer and has proved to be valuable in breeding too. International top horses like Ultimo (Annelies Vorsselmans) and Tag Heuer (Geir Gulliksen) are also closely related to Elvaro.
