Description
Continental Blue placed under Philip Rüping in the Grand Prix of Herning/DEN, Neumünster and Neustadt/D. forward and thus seamlessly continued his successful streak from the years before.
Continental Blue made his debut in young horse jumping ability tests as a four-year-old. At the age of five, he won a series of young horse jumping ability tests. At the age of six, he achieved his first successes in international young horse competitions. The jump to the advanced class was then effortless.
Continental Blue was licensed in 2020 and provided the required evidence of his sporting successes. His son Continental Cafe PS/Markus Friedel, who was the result of a test jump, made his debut in show jumping ability competitions (4y.).
Continental Blue gives his ideally constructed offspring his unconditional will to perform
The sire Conthargos, who is also stationed with us, produces top horses in a series, including the international winners Conchento PS/Luciana Diniz/POR, Easy Girl/Santiago Lambre/BRA, Connecticut/Matthew Sampson/GBR, Cocolina/Natalie Dean/USA, Cosa Nostra/Jeroen Dubbeldam/NED and Conthinder/Andrzej Oplatek/POL to name just a few. Almost 20 of his sons were licensed, including our OS champion stallion and main premium winner Conthalou PS and the performance test winner Chaccothage Blue PS.
Congolda Blue PS (by Contendros) also descends from the dam Chagolda, who achieved her first international successes up to 1.40 meters in jumping with Koki Saito/JPN at the age of seven. And Don Blue (by Diatendro), who represented Italy in the international youngster tour at the age of six.
Second in the pedigree is our elite stallion Chacco-Blue, himself a son of the Holsteiner Chambertin out of a Contender-Godavari xx dam and inbred to the line founder Cor de la Bryère several times. He was third in the Aachen Grand Prix and won the Neumünster Grand Prix. In 2015, the successes of his offspring catapulted him into the top ten of the world’s best show jumping sires for the first time. Since 2017 he has even led this ranking of the World Breeding Association WBFSH. His most successful offspring include the Olympic champion, European Championship individual silver and team bronze winner and Global Champions Tour winner Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR, Olympic sixth place Chanyon/Daisuke Fukushima/JPN, European team champion Chaqui Z/ Shane Sweetnams/IRL and runner-up in Nations Cup final, Chacon/Eoin McMahon/IRL etc.
In addition to the 1.50 meter show jumper Cargoldo (by Cartoon), the granddam Kirigold also produced other top horses: Cricket, Chaclando, Charigold, Chalano Gold (1.50 meter jumping) and Spartacus (1.50 meter jumping)/Dirk Demeersman/BEL (all by Chacco-Blue) and Bobby Balou (by Baloubet du Rouet; 1.60 meter jumping test)/PÃ¥l Flam/NOR.
The third father, Landgold, was Vice Bundeschampion in 2000 and internationally victorious with riders such as Franke Sloothaak, Katharina Offel, Björn Nagel and Oliver Lemmer. Three of his sons were licensed, around 30 offspring went through advanced courses, such as Lacontino/Luciana Diniz/POR and Alexandre de Rothschild/FRA.
The great-granddam Kirina also produced a series of international show jumpers: Cam-Wood (by Calido I), Laganda (by Landgold)/Bruce Goodin/NZL, Cargana (by Carinue)/Theo Muff/SUI and Chagano (by Chacco- Blue).
Also from the dam line is the licensed stallion Risandro (by Ricardo), who celebrated international victories with Samantha McIntosh/NZL.
