And Conthargos has more “hot irons” in the fire. Conmitage won gold at the Belgian Show Jumping Championships (6 years), Classé pour toi/Frederic Tillmann placed in the World Championships for show jumping and in the Bundeschampionat finals (5 years). In 2020, Comtess became

Vice State Champion of the five-year-old Oldenburg show jumpers. And a Conthargos colt won silver and bronze at the German Foal Championships.

At the beginning of his career, the sire Converter won 22 young horse jumping ability classes up to medium level with grades of up to 9.0. In 2005 he won the Oldenburg State Championships, placed at the Federal Championships and was second best show jumping stallion at the World Championships in Lanaken/BEL. Five of his sons were licensed, including Convertus, who placed internationally. His more than 40 S-successful offspring are led by Crüger, third at the European Championships, under Max Haunhorst, Compagnon/Hans Thorben Rüder and Caja/Martin Sterzenbach.

The dam of Conthargos produced a number of international show jumpers, including Chacjandra (by Chacco-Blue) and Afrika (by Converter I)/among others Werner Muff/SUI, who were successful in 1.55 meter jumps.

Ridden by Jos Lansink/BEL, the dam’s sire Carthago was the most successful show jumping stallion in the world at the time, taking part in two Olympics in 1996 in Atlanta/USA and in 2000 in Sydney/AUS. His sport offspring registered in Germany alone, including Marco Kutschers Cash, Mylord Carthago by Pénélope Leprévost/FRA and Classix Girl by Sören von Rönne, collected over 4.4 million euros in prize money. Among the most influential of his more than 50 licensed sons are Colman, Cardino, Carinue, Cartani, Carvallo BB and Crown Z.

The internationally successful jumper Nike is the result of Conthargo’s dam line, which is of French origin and exclusively has stallions from our station with Latus I, Sandro and Colorado AA.
