Description
At the Holsteiner stallion licensing in Elmshorn at the end of 2025, Christelio proved to be one of the most complete stallions of the collection, a performance that earned this exciting jumping talent the title of Reserve Sieger. His father Christian competed at the highest level with Jamie Gornall and boasts outstanding genetics as a son of the 1.60m-level performers Cartani and Who Knows Lilly. Despite his untimely death, Christian has produced a remarkable number of offspring successfully competing in international sport, including at the very top level such as Clitschko 17, Theo 160, Cosm Hesed, and Cute Face. In Christelio, Christian posthumously presents a highly promising son. On the dam’s side, Christelio was bred from the renowned Holsteiner damline 2067. His dam Karlotta IV contributes the valuable genes of top sire Casall and is a half-sister to six international showjumpers, among them the 1.45/1.50m-level performers Lenzo 5 ridden by Mark Bluman and Elenoor ridden by Evie Ehrens. The damline continues with a half-sister to the 1.60m-winning horse Carnutelabryere of Helen McNaught. International 1.50/1.60m-level performers such as Caprys 2, Clarinius, Capitano Z, Equador Z, and Classico 73 also originate from this direct branch.
